ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL
JULIET JORDAAN ATCL LTCLJuliet earned her Licentiate Teacher's Diploma in Speech and Drama from the Trinity College of Music, London in 1993. This milestone marked the beginning of her impactful journey in the realm of performing arts education.
In 1994, Juliet established her own drama studio in Johannesburg,, where she taught children ranging in age from 4 – 16. Through word of mouth her numbers quickly increased and many of her students excelled in the Trinity College of Music exams. While Juliet was actively involved in Industrial Theatre and script writing, her heart resonated most profoundly with the art of teaching children. Recognizing the transformative potential of drama in shaping young minds, she focused on cultivating a passion for the performing arts among her students.
In 2009, Juliet took a significant step in her journey by acquiring the Helen O' Grady Academy franchise for Midrand and Pretoria. Over the past 15 years as the Principal of the Academy, she has consistently demonstrated a profound commitment to the field of Creative Arts education. Juliet's passion lies in harnessing the transformative power of drama to nurture the creativity and confidence of the next generation.
