Teaching children to love Opera is an easy thing for the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy. The Academy believes in making all forms for performance accessible and enjoyable for chlidren.
This year's Winter Holiday Musical Stage School in Cape Town was yet again fully booked because parents realise the huge educational value of this wonderful programme which aims to give children a love and understanding of musical theatre.
The Holiday programmes run in July and December. The end of year programme is famous for 'A Musical in a Week' where students start rehearsing a musical on the Monday and by the Saturday they put on a full scale musical in a professional theatre.
