A Musical in a Week in Cape Town
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Cape Town runs its famous 'A Musical in A Week' holiday stage during the summer holidays and it is always a huge success. For many years now this drama, singing and dance programme has been fully booked.
It is an amazing feat to produce a musical in a week and this year's production of 'One in the Eye' was just amazing. The Academy believes in developing confidence, self-esteem and communication skills using a performance arts course. During term time, children attend classes in drama but during the holidays, children get the opportunity to experience musical theatre.
Expert teachers in dance, singing and music, and drama train the children to reach their full potential. These programmes run during the school holidays.
