Three new schools take after school drama club programme in Cape Town

The programme just gets more popular in Africa, and Cape Town is no exception, with over 3,000 children and adults attending the Academy's international programme in Cape Town alone, making it probably one, if not the largest drama school in the world.
This term the Academy welcomes three new schools as part of making its programme accessible to all. The schools in Cape Town are:
Square Hill Primary
Spine Road High School
Star College Girls' School
The Academy runs in many schools and private studios around Cape Town and those schools which use this famous international programme, know the difference that it makes in the lives of these young people.
Whilst this is a performance arts course, the programme has its foundations, as all drama does, in the development of sound communication skills. Children taught how to speak clearly, with confidence, are more likely to achieve later on in life because they have the necessary skills to put themself forward and take on leadership roles.
One of the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's parents from our Windsor High School programme said:
"My daughter’s success in life is a result of the confidence she gained through learning how to speak and act confidently with the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy. I want what my daughter has now."
