Our congratulations go to our Helen O'Grady Drama Academy 'Youth Theatre' Student Ophelia Dzidzornu for gaining the Lead Role in the much anticipated Independent International Film called ‘The Cursed Ones’. 

Set in a rural village of West Africa, The Cursed Ones tells the story of two men who have the courage to fight back against corruption and false prophets. A disillusioned reporter and a young, reformed assistant Pastor attempt to save the lives of children accused of witchcraft.

Ophelia can be seen in the Starring role alongside Oris Erhuero, Ama K. Abebrese, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Joseph Otsiman, Rama Brew, David Dontoh, and Fred Amugi.

The film will be showing in Ghana later this year! 

We are very proud of Ophelia's Achievement and trust she will be doing more amazing work in the near future!

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy develops the potentional of all children from the shy to those who want to pursue acting as a career.  Classes run throughout Africa to develop children including countries such as Morocco, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, Botswana, Namibia, Mauritius, Zamiba, Mozambique and South Africa.
