Accra celebrates first year in style!
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy has had an amazing first year. Their Principal, Kwaku, has appeared regularly on television and the chlldren in the Academy have received many opportunities to show their talents for parents and friends.
The Highlight of this year was the amazing productions of such high standard. Our international drama school is so pleased to be basaed in this wonderful country where clearly their is such talent. The Academy aims to develop confidence, self-esteem, communication and performances skills in children, using teachers and a international curriculum which develops children through positivity and affirmation. Children are part of a huge international network of Helen O'Grady drama kids and by this we share our interconnectivity and compassion for each other.
The One Year Anniversary celebrations, were held at the Nubuke Foundation in East Legon. It was amazing, with students sharing presentations of what the had achieved over the course of the year. Most notably was the excellent development of confidence for communication on the stage.
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Accra is now the premiere drama school for children in Ghana. We look forward to more years with these wonderful people, and to welcome more amazing creative children from all over Greater Accra!
