Cairo is celebrating Shakespeare’s 400th anniversary
Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is gearing up to celebrate the 400th anniversary since the death of Shakespeare. Children around Africa, in Africa's largest drama school, will be marking this day with performance.
Here you can see our students from our extremely vibrant Cairo Youth Theatre practising outside to help with projection. Shakespeare really does lend itself to outdoor performance and this production of 'Macbeth' is going to be amazing.
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy has been running for 20 years now throughout Africa and programme is famous for its development of strong communication skills. Principals throughout Africa focus on bringing out all that is best in children's natural talent.
