The Grove Primary School in Cape Town takes on Helen O'Grady
From July, another fine school in Cape Town takes on the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy's international programme. Grove Primary situated in the leafy suburbs of Claremont is a very holistic school and really does believe in the all round development of chldren. As from next term Grove Primary will have the Academy's after school club running on Wednesday afternoons for three different age groups from Grade R to Grade 7.
Celebrating 20 years in Cape Town, and 3000 children, the Academy really does aim to develop children in confidence and self-esteem, but most importanly through the performance arts children gain amazing skills in communication and acting. The Academy's productions are the highlight of the year and they are performed at the Magnet Theatre in Cape Town.
All the Academy's teachers are fully trained in the creative methods of teaching. Teachers all follow the Academy's principles of positivity and mutual respect, thereby creating a stimulating and protective environment for the chldren.
