Building life skills in Drama

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy in Mauritius is one of the leading schools in the development of children in communication skills. The Academy's international programme really does bring out the best in each and ever children. The Academy's Principal, Adila, is vibrant and enthusiastic and has worked hard over the years to develop these international life-skills in the children.
Adila says: "There is much to learn, where drama offers various skills for students to develop physically, emotionally, socially and verbal skills are just a few benefits.
We start classes by getting right into action. Warming the body verbally and physically and mentally.Performing arts helps students practice skills and understand how to think outside the box they learn to trust their ideas and abilities. These are skills applied in our everyday life. We have to be confident to succeed. Believing in yourself is what allows you to rise up and reach your true potential."
This is why, on the island of Mauritius so much is now happening in the schools and the Academy's private studios to develop children holistically.
