Cairo develops positive children

Egypt
31 January

In a world where there is so much negativity, it is important that children learn how to and be positve people.  in Cairo children are now approaching their second term of drama and the atmosphere in the classes, as you can see from the photo,  is one of excitement and happiness. Children who are new to the Academy start to become comfortable in their positivity with each other and their teachers. This spills out into their general demeaour outside the classes.

The Academy organised Parents Days to allow these wonderful students to showcase their fantastic development. This step in their development is vital because they are asked to perform for the first time in front of an audience this year. From here, the next step is the big stage when they perform in their annual productions. The development of confidence and positivity becomes natural for the children in the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy.

Once this happens childern learn how to express themselves effectively and thereby they become confident communicators. Our Drama classes ask our students to find a balance between reality and fiction. Through imagination and creativity, skills needed in every day life start to develop. Skills, such as, confidence, communication skills, critical thinking, the ability to analyse as well as many others can be taken in any field of life to strengthen a personality towards success. Having a voice is a massive step of accomplishment that will ultimately lead to many other accomplishments later on in our students' lives.

For ten years now, our Cairo Academy has been responsible for the development of thousands of Egyptian children.
