Teaching Training and Enrichment a huge part of the magic
The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy believes in the importance of development not only with its teachers but with its staff as well. At the start of each term the teachers come together to workshop the curriculum for the next year and share new innovations in the teaching of drama.
In this photo you can see the teachers from the Cape Town Academy which has over 3000 children attending classes each week. The Academy's teachers are initially trained to the highest standards, following a programme which has been developed over 35 years internationally. Most teachers are performance arts graduates with a great passion for drama and the development of children.
One of the key aspects of training is how to develop a positive approach to life. Teachers learn how to bring out the best in all the children and this is why the Academy is the largest drama school in the world.
