11 children from Lagos attend the Holiday Stage School in Cape Town
The Cape Town Academy, one of the largest drama schools in the world, was host to eleven wonderful children from Lagos in Nigeria. The Academy runs its 'A Musical in a Week' programme with children from all over Africa attending. The programme trains children in skills in musical theatre including dance, singing and acting.
Whilst the Lagos children were in Cape Town, they were able to see all the wonderful attractions this great city has to offer. It was also a sad time for them as it was during the time of Nelson Mandela's funeral. In this photo one of the Nigerian actors is paying tribute to Nelson Mandela.
