Meet Our Gansbaai Students!
Following on from our well-attended free workshop held in Gansbaai two weeks ago, eleven enthusiastic students turned up at our first drama class held on Friday 7th March, ready for action!
We have been overwhelmed by the positive response from students, parents, teachers and even pastors who have all stated that this is a "good thing" for Gansbaai. All support is much valued, and we are certainly looking forward to building wonderful relationships within Gansbaai's friendly community.
More queries are coming in, and we expect the studio to grow. In the meantime, our students can expect a vibrant, challenging but fun program each week to help them:
- grow in confidence
- communicate better
- learn problem-solving
- learn to think quickly
- present in public with confidence
- improve English skills
- and relate to others outside of their peer group
All this wrapped up in a delightful program using something that EVERYBODY LOVES ... DRAMA!
Anyone in grades 1 to 7 is invited to come along for a free trial lesson on any Friday. Just turn up or contact grant@helenogrady.co.za to arrange.
Classes are held every Friday from 4:15 to 5:15 at the OMGEE Sentrum in Kerk St, exactly opposite the entrance gates to Laerskool Gansbaai.
